Shannon's and my bags, on-line, waiting to be loaded onto the truck that will take them to the airport for us. It's best to mark them in an identifyable fashion to make it easier to pick your own green duffel bag from a sea of other green duffel bags.
After a week of iritation, or what some might refer to as "Army training", we are finally ready to leave Ft. Bliss and fly to Kuwait. From that intermediate jump-off point, we will catch a military air flight into Baghdad. The flight to Kuwait is a chartered jet, so we will enjoy some relative comfort on the way to Kuwait before strapping ourselves into a C-130 or similar for the short hop to Baghdad.
