Hi. I am home in San Diego. The trip was fine, and CRC checkout was faster than expected. I caught some sort of a flu bug in Kuwait, though, and I am sick. So, I'll blog later.

Glad you made it home safe! I think you may have caught the bug before you left here b/c John and Haidar was sick and then me and now Charles.
Nancy - Welcome home!!

I just wanted to say thank you for your soup sandwich CRC blog. It proved to be a lot more useful than the .mil site since this will be my second time deploying, but my first deployment as a contractor. so thanks nancy :D !!!
Hi Poli. Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm glad you found my blog and soupsandwich site helpful. I know a lot has probably changed since it was last updated, but CRC IS CRC. I hope your experience there is relatively painless. :) Best wishes for a smooth deployment!
